How do I reserve a puppy?
First, fill out our puppy application and once approved a non-refundable deposit of half the price is required to hold a puppy. Full payment plus any shipping costs, including the crate are due before the delivery date.
Is shipping included in the cost of a puppy?
No, shipping is additional we only charge what fees are incurred
Can I reserve a dog from a future litter?
Deposits for future puppies are accepted. Puppies are picked and sold in the order deposits are received.
Can I meet the puppies to pick one out?
Yes, our puppies are raised in a home kennel environment and we love for interested families to come out and meet the puppies. We do this on an appointment only and wait until they are 4 weeks old.
How do I pay for my puppy?
We accept check, cash, or paypal.
Will I be able to show my Australian Shepherd purchased from Turnin' The Herd?
Yes, as a breeder of Australian Shepherds our goal is for a family dog that can also be shown, or trained for agility and working livestock.
Are these dogs good with kids?
Yes, we breed for temperament and like any animal exposure and upbringing take a large part in their interactions with people. And generally speaking Australian Shepherds make wonderful family pets!
Do you do genetic testing on your dogs?
Yes, eyes, hips and genetic diseases that are known concerns to the breed.
Are your dogs registered with AKC and ASCA?
Yes!
